Coronavirus Update

Dear PAMPA patients and families,

On behalf of the PAMPA providers and staff, we want to reach out to you in these unsettling times.   We firmly believe in the power of an amazing community and faith in each other. Everyone needs to pause and take pride in our adaptability as parents, students, teachers, employees, employers, and Americans.

PAMPA wants to keep you updated on our procedures to protect your family when in our office.   This week, the American Academy of Pediatrics restated continued support for doing well-child checks ups, especially those who are due for vaccines.  We are taking daily measures to keep well and sick patients separate in our offices.  Among those steps are:

  • We are asking all patients to come in with only one adult and, if possible, no siblings.
  • We are beginning to do telemedicine for certain types of visits when our providers deem it appropriate.
  • In our Roswell and Sandy Springs offices, we are seeing only well visits in the morning.
  • In our Marietta and Woodstock offices, we have divided our office spaces into well and sick sides, each with its own entrance, exit, check in and check out.
  • Our staff is increasing the frequency of cleaning in the office and continue to follow recommended hand washing/sanitizing before and after all patient contacts.
  • Marietta Saturday hours are now by appointment only in order to decrease potential exposures to illness.
  • We are screening for patients at risk of coronavirus exposure both when appointments are scheduled and at check-in.
  • We will be checking temperatures for all of our providers and staff daily to screen for illness.
  • We are also checking temperatures for all family members who accompany a patient to a visit.

Children with possible Coronavirus exposure:

If you have any concern that your child has been exposed to the novel coronavirus, please let us know when you call.   Do not make an appointment until you have spoken to a nurse or provider.   At this time, we are not performing COVID-19 testing in our office.

Our number one goal is to keep all our patients safe. Please continue to practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible. As the climate surrounding COVID-19 continues to change, we will update our policies and procedures and keep you informed.

For the most up to date information,

We greatly appreciate your trust in us.   Thank you for being a valued member of the PAMPA family.

Stay safe and be well,

The Providers of PAMPA
