Coronavirus Pandemic Update

Dear PAMPA patients and families,

The providers and staff of PAMPA are continuing to update our policies and guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The health and safety of your family is of utmost importance to us.  We are announcing some practice changes and we are excited to introduce telemedicine.

Telemedicine is now an option for PAMPA patients!  Telemedicine provides a video and audio format to be able to have a real-time office visit with your provider while staying at home.  We feel that telemedicine visits are most appropriate for follow up mental health and ADHD visits. Certain types of visits are better suited for a telemedicine visit so please inquire with the scheduler when you call.

In order to consolidate our offices during this uncertain time, we will be closing the Mount Vernon location immediately.  In addition, we will temporarily suspend visits in our Roswell location after April 10th. We will continue to care for our patients at the Marietta and Woodstock offices and may need to reschedule your appointment. We appreciate your understanding as we make these changes.

We have taken many measures to protect your family and our staff in our offices.  These include:  providing separate sick and well entrances and exits and exam areas in our offices, frequently sanitizing the office and exam rooms, screening temperatures of all who enter our offices (staff, providers, patients and family members), screening patients before scheduling a sick visit, directing patients straight to an exam room to avoid common waiting areas, changing our Saturday office hours to by appointment only, and limiting the number of family members who accompany a patient. We want you to feel safe for your children to continue to receive care in our offices.  In addition, we feel it is imperative to continue to administer childhood vaccines throughout this time.

If you have a concern that your child has symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone who may have COVID-19 please let us know when you call the office. Symptoms of the novel Coronavirus may occur 2-14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.  At this time, we are not testing for COVID-19 in our offices.

For the most up to date information,

Please continue to stay safe!

The PAMPA staff
