Flu Vaccine

Fall is the time for flu vaccine! We have received a large supply of injectable flu vaccine and we still have a limited supply of Flumist. Flu vaccines may be administered at any well child check and with other non-febrile office visits. In addition, we are scheduling patients for flu vaccine clinics. Please call your preferred office to schedule an appointment.
We want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to get your family vaccinated for influenza. More than ever, doctors and experts remind us that we can all take measures to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases like flu and COVID-19 by doing the following:
- Wear a mask!
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or hand sanitizer.
- Anyone feeling ill should stay at home.
COVID-19 and Myocarditis

We recommend any child who has positive test for COVID-19 with illness lasting longer than 3 days or associated fever with illness see us for a physical exam and an ECG before returning to sports. If your child has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past, is currently ill, or acquires a future infection, it is recommended to schedule a physical exam with a follow up ECG after symptoms have resolved It is also recommended that your child rest for 2 weeks after their symptoms have resolved without vigorous exercise during that time. Please speak to your primary provider with questions.
