COVID-19 Update August 2021

August 16, 2021

PAMPA will continue to update you on the COVID 19 pandemic and the recent increased risk due to the Delta variant. The Delta variant is currently the predominant strain of COVID 19 circulating in the United States. It causes more infections and spreads faster than early forms of SARS-Cov-2. The greatest risk of transmission is among unvaccinated people who are more likely to contract and transmit the virus. This puts our pediatric population at significant risk.

Our offices are devoted to providing a safe environment for everyone during this busy time. PAMPA follows the recommendations and guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The exam rooms are cleaned between each patient and our office is sanitized multiple times daily.

We REQUIRE masks for all staff and patients over 2 years of age inside our facilities.

We recommend and encourage the COVID 19 vaccination for all patients who are eligible.

We are not a COVID PCR testing facility. Our providers MAY choose to provide COVID PCR testing for symptomatic patients during a scheduled visit.

We are screening everyone before they enter the office. If you are planning to stop by an office to pick up samples or drop off a form you must call before entering the office.

We do NOT provide return to school/daycare notes to return to school. Please follow the guidelines of your school administrator. The CDC recommendation is below and may be used for reference.

Office Communication:

Due to the current COVID 19 surge we are experiencing extremely high call volume as well as suffering from staffing shortages being felt throughout the country. We are diligently working to manage your calls, appointments, forms and prescription requests. Unfortunately, there will be a significant delay in taking care of these requests. Please bear with us as we all try to navigate this unmatched time in healthcare.
