PAMPA Pediatrics offers a comprehensive asthma and allergy management program led by pediatricians skilled in diagnosing and managing childhood asthma and allergies. Diagnosis typically occurs during sick visits when symptoms like wheezing are present, or during preventive care visits based on concerns or exam findings. We educate families on environmental controls, trigger avoidance, and proper inhaler use, ensuring medication devices are used correctly. An Asthma Action Plan and, if necessary, a Food Allergy Action Plan are provided. Children with asthma should visit our office every 3-12 months, depending on their illness severity and asthma control, for evaluations prior to medication refills.
