Tamara Nix, MD
Dr. Nix joined PAMPA in 2008. She was previously an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and co-Director of the Newborn Nursery at the University of Chicago from 2004-2007. She attended Duke University for undergraduate school and is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as with the American Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. Dr. Nix loves pediatrics because of the joy of watching children learn and thrive; she also enjoys supporting families during this journey. Dr. Nix is married with two teenage children.
